Luxury conference hotel in London boosts Conrad’s portfolio

At long last Conrad (that’s a top of the range Hilton to you and I) has a 5 star hotel with meeting rooms in London. If you are looking for a luxury hotel for meetings in Westminster, then the Conrad London St James fits the bill.

Once civil service offices, this luxurious modern meeting hotel spans six floors. Its style appeals to London conference organisers, and inevitably attracts the political fraternity due to its Westminster location. It’s within the House of Commons’ division bell area. Big Ben and Parliament Square, Buckingham Palace, St James’s Park, Westminster Bridge and Trafalgar Square are a few minutes’ walk away. St James’s Park tube is opposite.

Meeting Rooms

All 7,000 sq ft of the Conrad London St James conference rooms are on a dedicated meeting floor.

The Whitehall is the largest conference room and can dine up to 230 or seat 300 theatre style. This meeting room can also be divided into four smaller meeting rooms with capacities for 60-70 theatre style. The Chequers, Chevening and Dorneywood are all smaller meeting rooms, suited to boardroom meetings of 10-20 delegates. Each meeting room has in-built audio visual equipment.

Bedrooms

By London standards, the hotel’s bedrooms are a good size. All 256 bedrooms have a king size or twin beds, sizeable marble bathrooms with separate baths and walk-in showers, air conditioning, flat screen televisions, desks and free wi-fi.

One final piece of information, if the hotel seems familiar it was formerly the Inter-Continental Westminster. It is now run as a Conrad, adding to the groups 20+ hotels worldwide.
