Conference centre in the heart of Westminster

The Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors is a historic meeting place in Westminster with a range of function rooms. The Victorian Grade II listed building dates back to 1899, though many of the meeting rooms have a more modern ambience after a refurbishment in 2009.

 

Catering by Michel Roux Junior

Geared for first class meetings, the venue’s kitchen is headed up by Michel Roux Junior and Head Chef Steve Groves, who won MasterChef: The Professionals in 2009. Seasonal menus cater for meetings and conferences, formal dinners, weddings and cocktail parties.

 

Lecture Hall

A first floor room accessed via a sweeping marble staircase.  Traditional décor comprises of wood panelling and impressive paintings.  This is the largest meeting room at RICS.

Council Chamber

In contrast to the Lecture Hall this is  a light and airy room with marble walls overlooking the British Supreme Court. It has fitted audio visual equipment and is used for dining up to 50 seated guests and 100 standing.

President’s Dining Room 

A contemporary meeting room overlooking Parliament Square and the London Eye via a large picture window. Suitable for boardroom meetings and small dinners/receptions, it is rented in conjunction with the roof terrace.

Roof Terrace at RICS

Linked to the President’s Dining Room, the Roof Top Terrace also has views of Big Ben and the London Eye.

In addition to the above there are other meeting rooms able to host meetings of 12 to 24 delegates boardroom style.
