Meeting Rooms at The Vox Conference Centre

The NEC is expanding its portfolio by adding a new large Conference venue in Birmingham. Meeting rooms at The Vox Conference Centre will be one of the largest in the city and slap bang in the centre of the UK; with excellent motorway, rail and air access.

Latin students will be familiar with “Vox Populi”, meaning “voice of the people”, where The Vox gets its name from. This large meeting space is part of much bigger complex, Resorts World Birmingham, which is another new entity in its own right. More on that later.

A big tick for The Vox is that (in the scheme of things) it can make large events more intimate. Well as cosy as you can get with events for just under 1,000. If you are looking for a large conference venue in Birmingham for 500+ you are looking at large hotels like the Birmingham Metropole, or large conference centres like The Vox’s bigger sisters at the ICC and the nearby NEC. Chances are if you are using these venues there will be many other events happening at the same time. Less so at The Vox, whose bigger rooms comprise of just five large conference suites, plus three smaller boardrooms for 16 to 28 delegates.

AV

All the technical gizmos have been installed when it comes to AV and technology, along with free Wi-Fi for delegates. Quotes for using meeting rooms at The Vox Conference Centre include a quote for the AV and technicians. There is also a media wall for branding and electronic signage.

Location

The Vox Conference Centre is located in Birmingham’s NEC’s 611 acre grounds, next to the Genting Arena, with ample parking and a range of hotel options, both at Resorts World and within the NEC “campus”.
