There is due to be an innovative new addition to the large conference venues in Birmingham at the start of 2015 with the opening of ‘Resorts World Birmingham’. At a cost of £150 million this will be the UK’s first integrated destination leisure complex featuring a huge array of entertainment and leisure options. It will be located in close proximity to the NEC, Birmingham and will therefore attract many visitors from far and wide, aided by the top quality transport link.
This purpose built new complex will include a seven storey 170 room hotel with a range of luxury suites, an 11 screen cinema, various restaurants offering numerous international cuisines, a casino, designer shopping outlet and a banqueting and conference centre.
The banqueting and conference centre will comprise of around 4,180m2 of meeting space across five state of the art conference rooms. These conference centre facilities aim to accommodate up to 1300 delegates.
Birmingham already represents one of the top events destinations in the UK due to it’s central location and the addition of a venue such as this will serve to further increase the interest in the area.
